Director, Social Media

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and tactical social media initiatives for a portfolio of pharmaceutical clients.
• Serve as the primary social media counsel to account staff and external clients.
• Identify, secure, and grow both organic and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams including creative, analytics, and project management to ensure project delivery.
• Drive internal education and knowledge sharing to promote social media adoption across the organization.
• Act as a subject matter expert on social media trends and technology to support client marketing objectives.
• Manage projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and on target.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of related industry experience, preferably in a consultative or agency environment.
• Proven expertise in digital strategy, social media, and marketing technology.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and agency collaborations.
