Director, Shared Services

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and operational excellence for the global Finance Shared Services function, including AR, AP, Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Treasury.
• Act as a key financial business partner to global leaders to drive strategic initiatives and margin optimization.
• Define and execute a multi-year automation roadmap, partnering with IT to implement AI-enabled analytics and modernize legacy systems.
• Drive standardization of reconciliations and journal entry workflows to improve the global financial close timeline.
• Maintain robust internal control systems (SOX) and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Establish performance dashboards to track key metrics such as rework rates and reconciliation completion.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Controllers and Global AR/AP leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• 12+ years of experience in Finance Operations, with at least 5 years in a Senior Manager capacity.
• Deep experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale strategic projects and system implementations in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA).
• Experience with digital transformation and implementing AI/automation in finance workflows.
