Director, Senior Private Banker

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage profitable banking relationships with high-net-worth clients, specifically focusing on law firms and professional service firms
• Execute business plans to grow banking revenue while maintaining adherence to the Bank’s risk tolerance
• Provide superior service to an assigned portfolio of clients to act as a trusted advisor
• Lead deal teams to meet complex client needs and manage the retention and expansion of relationships
• Proactively develop internal and external networks for referral sources to create marketplace visibility
• Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
• Partner with leadership on strategic direction and complex line-of-business projects
• Ensure all lending and non-lending decisions and prospecting activities are adequately documented and compliant with regulations

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in private banking or wealth management
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong credit knowledge and expertise in personal and commercial credit products
• Proven track record in business development and sales
• Expert relationship management and client service skills
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and influence skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and work independently in a complex environment
