About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive a no-downtime operating model across all facilities to ensure high availability for AI workloads
- Own end-to-end uptime performance, including incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Architect and manage a high-discipline vendor and colocation operating model
- Align SLAs, incentives, and performance metrics to eliminate ambiguity in ownership
- Build and maintain a zero-incident safety culture with rigor in high-risk procedures
- Transform preventive maintenance into predictive failure prevention strategies
- Standardize SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs to build a high-signal operating rhythm
- Build and lead high-performing, high-agency technical teams
- Ensure operational readiness for new builds and influence site strategy
Requirements
- 12–15+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities or data center operations
- Proven experience managing multi-site, vendor-heavy environments
- Deep expertise in electrical and mechanical systems
- Demonstrated track record in improving uptime and operational performance
