Director, Security Operations

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a mature, outcomes-driven Security Operations Center (SOC) operating model.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
• Oversee digital forensics investigations across endpoint, network, log, and cloud-based environments.
• Manage the enterprise vulnerability management program, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
• Own and manage the campus Palo Alto next-generation firewall environment, including architecture and rulebase governance.
• Lead security operations for cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Define and track SOC metrics (MTTD, MTTR) and provide actionable reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage SOC-related vendors, tools, and budgets, including MDR, EDR/XDR, and SIEM platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations.
• 5+ years of experience in security leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and firewalls (Palo Alto preferred).
• Proven experience with cloud security (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Demonstrated experience leading SOC, incident response, and digital forensics.
