Responsibilities
- Proactively manage day-to-day activity across a base of agency and direct clients to identify growth and upsell opportunities
- Secure bookings from new and repeat advertising clients to develop a robust revenue pipeline
- Build strong internal and external profiles by attending regular meetings with key agency and direct clients
- Collaborate with internal teams on operational processes, forecasting, and sales pipeline communication
- Develop innovative audio and video campaigns by leveraging deep knowledge of the podcast landscape
- Analyze campaign performance data to provide recommendations that ensure client satisfaction and renewals
- Create and present sales collateral for external pitches and internal education on the podcast ad sales market
Requirements
- Demonstrable success in digital or audio ad sales, specifically within podcast, video, or social formats
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans to expand existing relationships and find new business
- Existing relationships with audio or digital buyers at brands, holding groups, or independent agencies
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with sales CRM tools such as Boostr, Salesforce, or Netsuite
- A "hunter" mentality with a passion for the podcast industry
