Director, Retail

Responsibilities

• Oversee all retail operations for games, concerts, and events, including hiring, staff management, and inventory strategy
• Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Manage the budget and financial performance of the retail operation, including setting sales targets and forecasting labor and expenses
• Implement strategies to improve the customer experience and increase revenue through visual merchandising and sales optimization
• Lead the replenishment and refreshing of retail spaces by aligning front and back of house operations
• Coordinate product markdowns and liquidations in accordance with product lifespan thresholds
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Operations departments to ensure seamless event execution
• Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and union guidelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a sports venue retail environment
• Proven leadership experience managing management teams and hourly staff
• Working knowledge of purchase order creation and open-to-buy tracking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Experience working within union guidelines for scheduling and staffing
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail regarding inventory integrity and product flow
