Director, Remediation, Financial Services Consulting

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex remediation programmes from mobilisation through to closure
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders on delivery strategy, governance, and regulatory risk
• Set the overall programme strategy, including design, controls, reporting, and assurance frameworks
• Manage multi-disciplinary workstreams across operations, technology, data, and risk
• Own commercial performance, including budgeting, resourcing, and financial oversight
• Originate and shape new business development opportunities and lead significant client proposals
• Mentor senior managers and managers to foster a high-performing team culture

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience within Financial Services or leading large-scale remediation programmes
• Proven expertise in programme set-up and execution (governance, planning, and budget management)
• Strong technical knowledge of financial products and conduct risk (e.g., redress, complaint handling)
• Exceptional communication skills with experience in Board-level reporting and regulator engagement
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes
• Ability to translate complex regulatory expectations into actionable delivery plans

Preferred Qualifications

• FPC or QCF Level 4 qualification
• Strong academic background, ideally to degree level or equivalent
