Director, Regional Manager, Commercial

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of relationship managers within the Emerging Middle Market Group to drive market share growth
• Manage high-value client portfolios, focusing on cross-selling, retention, and profitability
• Drive new client acquisition by leveraging existing networks of customers and key stakeholders
• Lead the structuring of complex deals, credit approvals, and high-value negotiations
• Act as an escalation point for complex client issues and provide strategic problem-solving
• Implement market coverage strategies and represent the bank at industry forums and conferences
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
• Deliver performance reports and strategic insights to senior leadership regarding market trends and team metrics

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate banking environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Proven expertise in deal structuring, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management
• Strong proficiency in negotiation, stakeholder management, and customer relationship building
• Demonstrated ability to manage sales metrics and drive revenue generation
