Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Talent Acquisition functions across the Caribbean and LATAM regions.
• Drive a customer-centric culture by strengthening relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead a high-performance, world-class talent acquisition team, providing strategic vision and coaching.
• Collaborate with key business and HR leaders to implement innovative strategies that position Scotiabank as an employer of choice.
• Develop and implement talent insights and analytics to drive strategic business conversations.
• Design and manage priority talent segment strategies, ensuring diversity and inclusion goals are integrated.
• Manage internal and external ROI, identifying opportunities for cost savings and value generation.
• Promote inclusion initiatives to ensure diverse representation across all candidate pipelines.
• Guide the team in the effective use of sourcing, attraction, and selection tools.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Talent Acquisition.
• Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English (written and oral).
• Proven track record of leading transformative recruitment initiatives and high-performance teams.
• Deep knowledge of the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience managing both high-volume recruitment and specialized professional roles.
• Expertise in Talent Acquisition tools, sourcing technologies, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different business units, geographies, and disciplines.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects within competitive timelines.
• Must be located in and willing to work from corporate offices in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, or Peru.
