About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own annual and quarterly ARR targets across all customer segments and delivery models in Mexico
  • Lead and coach the local sales team across high-velocity SMB and complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Build and scale a tiered partner ecosystem including VARs, MSPs, MSSPs, telcos, and cloud distributors
  • Hire, develop, and lead local teams across sales, presales, customer success, and marketing
  • Manage country-level OpEx, headcount planning, and forecasting
  • Drive Net Retention Rate (NRR) through effective onboarding, adoption, and renewal processes
  • Monitor the local regulatory landscape and competitive dynamics to inform GTM strategy

Requirements

  • 8–15 years of experience in B2B technology sales, including leadership at a country or regional level
  • Proven experience managing sales across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments
  • Experience with subscription licensing, SaaS, or managed service provider models
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, data protection, or backup/recovery solutions
  • Deep knowledge of the Mexican IT channel ecosystem (distributors, VARs, MSPs, etc.)
  • Established network within the CISO and IT leadership community in Mexico
  • Native or near-native Spanish and professional English fluency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with competitors such as Acronis, Veritas, Commvault, or Druva
  • Knowledge of Mexican data regulations (LFPDPPP)
  • Experience in public sector/government technology sales
  • Hyperscaler partnership experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • MBA or equivalent business education
