Director - R&D Technologist

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and scientific leadership across clinical data management, biometrics, and advanced analytics for end-to-end drug development programs.
• Design and deliver innovative clinical data solutions, focusing on data standards, transformation, and analytics-driven decision-making.
• Lead complex client engagements regarding clinical data strategy, analytics enablement, and digital R&D transformation.
• Drive the adoption of standardized, scalable clinical data models and integrate AI/ML/GenAI approaches into clinical data processing.
• Oversee the quality, scientific rigor, and GxP compliance of all deliverables, including analytics and regulatory outputs.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing clinical data and analytics team while contributing to practice-building and new service offerings.

Requirements

• 18+ years of experience in Life Sciences R&D with deep expertise in clinical data management, biometrics, and analytics.
• Expert knowledge of CDISC standards, including CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, and TLF.
• Extensive experience with EDC platforms such as Medidata Rave, Veeva, or Oracle InForm.
• Proficiency in statistical computing and programming languages including SAS, R, and Python.
• Proven track record of leadership in large-scale, GxP-compliant enterprise programs.
• Strong ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with clinical data repositories (e.g., SAS LSAF, Oracle LSH) and metadata repositories.
• Exposure to AI/ML and GenAI-based solutions within the clinical data domain.
• Knowledge of interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or USDM.
• Experience with agile, product-led, and digital transformation delivery models.
