Director, Quality

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Total Quality Management strategy for all North America operations.
• Maintain ISO (9001, 14001, 18001) and other relevant certifications such as UL, MID, and ATEX.
• Manage Quality Assurance, Customer/Supplier Quality, and Quality Control and Inspection functions.
• Define, implement, and track Quality KPIs aligned with business strategy.
• Lead Customer Complaint and Warranty handling processes, driving root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
• Develop and implement robust Built-In-Quality processes and Supplier Quality Programs.
• Drive continuous improvement programs including Kaizens and GEMBA walks.
• Partner with Engineering to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and design transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional Quality Leadership experience at a managerial level.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma tools and hands-on problem-solving methodologies (A3, 5-why, Ishikawa, Pareto).
• Technical affinity with mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, or software.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex technical/process resolutions.
• Ability to travel up to 25% (mostly domestic).

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• ASQ certification.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
