About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day client manager, core team member and communications lead across a variety of clients
- Develop media strategies and collateral materials and execute across a variety of media platforms
- Build and cultivate trusted relationships across media platforms and earn coverage from key press
- Manage projects and campaigns, including deadlines, budgets, and communications measurement tools
- Create and deliver compelling and persuasive content using digital and content marketing channels
- Utilize industry tools for data, analytics, social media, and metrics
Requirements
- 7+ years of communications experience
- Proven ability to translate complex issues into simple and compelling campaigns
- Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple clients
- Established media relationships and networks
- Background and interest in policy issues
- Expertise in crafting and executing integrated public affairs campaigns
- Ability to counsel on emerging issues and respond to urgent client requests
- Ability to contribute to new business efforts
