Based in Southern California, with satellite offices in New York City, NY, Gainesville, FL, and Atlanta, GA, Athletes First is a staple in the sports representation business.

Responsibilities

• Sell integrated sponsorships across proprietary tent-pole properties, including experiential activations and signature event series
• Sell into the media and content portfolio, including athlete-led franchises, podcasts, and branded content
• Develop integrated pitches combining Properties, Media, and elite talent into category-exclusive partnerships
• Prospect, qualify, and close new business with national brands and agencies of record
• Partner cross-functionally with internal Content, Talent, and Marketing teams
• Lead end-to-end deal structuring and negotiation, including pricing and contracting
• Steward partnerships post-sale to ensure execution and identify upsell opportunities
• Represent the brand at industry events and client meetings

Requirements

• 6+ years of sponsorship, media, or integrated brand-partnership sales experience
• Proven track record of closing six- and seven-figure deals with national brands
• Existing relationships with senior brand decision-makers and agency partnership teams
• Ability to build creative, insight-led pitches and navigate complex deals
• Strong commercial instincts regarding pricing and contract negotiation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter mindset with disciplined pipeline habits
