About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute major agency projects aligned with Agency and Mayoral priorities
  • Lead meetings with project teams, executive committees, and vendors to develop project plans and updates
  • Supervise and guide staff involved in project implementation and monitoring
  • Conceptualize research and project design frameworks and conduct data analysis
  • Collaborate with Assistant Deputy Commissioners to maintain executive reporting and initiative tracking
  • Support program areas in implementing standardized project management tools
  • Represent the Office of Planning Management at meetings with agency staff and community partners

Requirements

  • Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental, or social science, or public health
  • For Assignment Level II: Doctorate with one year of supervisory/research experience, or Master's with three years of research experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the appropriate field of specialization
