About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the US-based Fleet Efficiency & Engineering team, managing Fleet Efficiency managers, Technical Data regional managers, and other hosted functions.
  • Monitor and recommend improvements for fleet performance and define mitigations for regional issues in North America.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to build partnerships with North American customers through regular visits, performance reviews, and workshops.
  • Act as the regional focal point for impactful in-service fleet-wide issues and crisis management.
  • Supervise Technical Data Support to ensure customer queries are answered correctly and in an expedited manner.
  • Oversee Maintenance Engineering Services, including market analysis, service strategy implementation, and sales campaign management to meet regional revenue targets.
  • Analyze fleet in-service data to identify top drivers and emerging issues, collaborating with central teams on action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, aeronautical studies, or aircraft systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in airline maintenance and engineering activities.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to manage a large, diverse team.
  • Proven experience working with Electronic Data Processing systems.
  • Deep knowledge of airline engineering and organizational operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations (specifically JAR121, JAR145, and JAR66).
  • Experience in technical service/support fields or aircraft fleet reliability.
