About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of complex electro-optical and infrared solutions programs, managing multiple direct report program managers.
- Drive strategy, vision, and direction for a cross-functional organization to achieve business objectives.
- Accountable for Bookings, Sales, Profit, and Cash, including AOP and LRP development and execution.
- Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality, and schedule performance using EVMS, IMP, and IMS.
- Coordinate and align interactions and dependencies between customers and other prime contractors.
- Develop and execute program area growth strategies and drive productivity improvements.
- Champion the development of program management talent and leadership capability within the organization.
- Travel up to 40% to support domestic and international business engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced degree with 12+ years of experience).
- Proven execution experience leading production programs.
- Proficiency with program management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program Management Level 3 Certification.
- Experience managing programs across the full product lifecycle (development through sustainment).
- Experience working with the U.S. Army or major Prime contractors on complex government programs.
- Proven success maintaining executive-level relationships with customers, suppliers, and government representatives.
- An active and in-scope Secret U.S. government issued security clearance.
