Director, Program Management

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of complex electro-optical and infrared solutions programs, managing multiple direct report program managers.
• Drive strategy, vision, and direction for a cross-functional organization to achieve business objectives.
• Accountable for Bookings, Sales, Profit, and Cash, including AOP and LRP development and execution.
• Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality, and schedule performance using EVMS, IMP, and IMS.
• Coordinate and align interactions and dependencies between customers and other prime contractors.
• Develop and execute program area growth strategies and drive productivity improvements.
• Champion the development of program management talent and leadership capability within the organization.
• Travel up to 40% to support domestic and international business engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced degree with 12+ years of experience).
• Proven execution experience leading production programs.
• Proficiency with program management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Program Management Level 3 Certification.
• Experience managing programs across the full product lifecycle (development through sustainment).
• Experience working with the U.S. Army or major Prime contractors on complex government programs.
• Proven success maintaining executive-level relationships with customers, suppliers, and government representatives.
• An active and in-scope Secret U.S. government issued security clearance.
