Director, Program Management

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution across the Airborne Imaging Portfolio within Military Avionics
• Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team of program management professionals
• Provide strategic oversight of multiple programs to ensure delivery on cost, schedule, quality, and technical commitments
• Drive portfolio health through risk management, financial performance, forecasting, and resource planning
• Serve as a primary escalation point for program issues and lead mitigation or recovery plans
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure alignment with mission needs
• Support growth objectives by partnering on capture, proposals, and new business opportunities
• Lead portfolio reviews and provide actionable communication to executive leadership
• Manage financial forecasts and strategic planning for the business area
• Establish and reinforce program management best practices and execution rigor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of prior related experience
• Graduate Degree with 13+ years of prior related experience
• 19+ years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
• Active Secret US Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in growing and capturing new business opportunities
• Experience managing government/DoD contracts
• Knowledge or experience with optics or optical engineering
• Experience executing throughout the full avionics lifecycle (design, development, test, and sell-off)
• Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Ability to lead and develop broad, cooperative relationships across cross-functional teams
