Director, Program Management

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the strategic direction for the Integrated Systems and Encryption business area within the Maritime Sector
• Manage full profit-and-loss responsibility for over $120M in annual revenue
• Oversee the Maritime Integrated Systems portfolio, including Navy HF Communication Programs and Submarine Internal Communications Systems
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Program Managers, System Architects, Engineers, and Production professionals
• Drive business development efforts, including strategic planning, new business forecasting, and capture management
• Maintain firm control of program costs and achieve quarterly positive EAC goals
• Build and maintain strategic customer partnerships to influence requirements and position the company for long-term growth
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure flawless program execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering with 15 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense
• 7+ years of senior management experience leading a diverse workforce
• 7 years of cross-functional leadership experience (Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, and Operations)
• 5 years of experience with Navy or equivalent acquisition processes
• Proven experience in Systems Engineering
• Extensive experience with Capture and Proposal Management in advanced technology sectors
• Demonstrated experience with Fixed Price contracts and major subcontracts
• Proficiency with EVMS demonstrated on successful production programs
• Active US Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Post Graduate or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
• Strong natural leadership presence and ability to act as an effective change agent
