Director, Program and Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Lead program management for development programs from preclinical through clinical stages
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define strategy and executable plans
• Identify and manage program-level risks, assumptions, and interdependencies
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, including milestones, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate cross-functional document production such as protocols, IB, and regulatory submissions
• Align diverse stakeholders around priorities and execution plans in a matrixed environment
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of program management processes and tools

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (Ph.D., PharmD, or MBA preferred)
• 10-15+ years of experience in the Biotech or Pharma industry
• Proven experience in project management within the clinical development space
• Expertise in drug development processes, particularly in endocrinology, immunology, or CNS
• Track record managing small molecule discovery projects through IND/CTA submissions
• Proficiency with project management tools like Smartsheet
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
