About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the multi-year product security roadmap for the joint Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform
- Embed security into the full SDLC, including threat modeling (TARA), secure coding, and automated tooling (SAST, DAST, fuzzing)
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UN Regulation No. 155
- Build and operate a vulnerability management program, bug bounty program, and penetration testing coordination
- Define security requirements for Tier-1 and Tier-2 automotive suppliers and manage SBOM practices
- Secure AI and autonomy platforms, including ML pipelines and in-vehicle inference security
- Build and lead the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT)
- Recruit and develop a high-performance global security team
- Present product security posture and risks to executive leadership and the board
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- 5+ years in product security leadership at a software-defined product company
- Deep technical expertise in application security, embedded systems, or automotive cybersecurity
- Experience building and scaling product security or AppSec teams
- Proficiency in threat modeling methodologies (STRIDE, PASTA, TARA)
- Experience securing cloud-native architectures (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Proven track record of executive-level communication and board-level reporting
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with ISO/SAE 21434 or UN Regulation No. 155
- Background in embedded, firmware, or hardware security (HSMs, secure boot)
- Familiarity with AI/ML security and adversarial robustness
- Experience in high-velocity technology environments
