Director, Product, Japan

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive product strategy for Clover's restaurant technology offerings in the Japanese market.
• Define the vision for product evolution, including digital ordering, table management, and payment systems.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams consisting of product managers, designers, marketers, and engineers.
• Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation through to launch.
• Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap based on market demands and customer needs.
• Conduct market research to identify customer pain points and analyze competitive landscapes.
• Gather and analyze usage data to iteratively improve product offerings and service quality.

Requirements

• 13+ years of experience in product management.
• 8+ years of leadership experience specifically within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of restaurant operations and emerging technology trends.
• Proven experience working with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in digital ordering systems.
• 9+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams within the technology sector.
• 10+ years of experience in product management for payment processing systems.
• 11+ years of experience in market research and customer insights analysis.
• 12+ years of experience in product roadmapping and lifecycle management.
