Director - Product Development

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design and verification teams responsible for PCIe switches, Retimers, CXL controllers, and SAS controller silicon.
• Define architecture and design strategies for next-generation connectivity products to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Oversee all phases of silicon development, including specification, RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing closure, and tape-out.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, firmware, validation, and product management.
• Drive technical innovation in design methodologies, verification flows, and tool adoption.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables to meet aggressive timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in silicon design and verification with a track record of delivering complex SoC/ASIC products.
• Deep technical expertise in PCIe, CXL, and SAS protocols and high-speed connectivity architectures.
• Hands-on experience with RTL design (Verilog/VHDL) and verification (SystemVerilog/UVM).
• Strong knowledge of synthesis, timing analysis, and the silicon development lifecycle.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retimer and switch architectures.
• Familiarity with security, power management, and reliability features in connectivity silicon.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization or multinational companies.
• Experience interfacing with customers and driving technical discussions.
