About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the procurement function (Direct and Indirect) to support rapid business growth and maximize ROI.
- Implement category management best practices to drive cross-company savings and operational improvements.
- Partner with finance, IT, and manufacturing leaders to improve P2P processes through automation and strategic alliances.
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the indirect purchasing team and manage relationships and performance with key suppliers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team to support corporate and manufacturing goals.
- Develop standard inventory planning models to achieve and maintain target inventory levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement operations and strategic sourcing.
- 7+ years of experience in the Medical Device, Pharma, or Biotech industry.
- Thorough understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
- Proven experience developing and implementing category strategies for indirect procurement (IT, capex, marketing, etc.).
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial contract terms and ability to lead supply agreement negotiations independently.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience contributing to automation or process improvements in the P2P process within a rapidly growing company.
