Director, Principal Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring of high-value, complex commercial deals and credit approvals to meet client needs and bank objectives
• Manage high-value client portfolios within the Emerging Middle Market segment, driving retention, profitability, and cross-selling initiatives
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients on loan products, rates, terms, and collateral requirements
• Drive business development through a strong Center of Influence (COI) network and market coverage strategies
• Negotiate complex transactions and serve as an escalation point for resolving intricate client issues
• Analyze market trends and industry developments to optimize client solutions and competitive positioning
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align business strategies and deliver holistic financial solutions

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management within a corporate or segmented banking environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Proven expertise in deal structuring, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management
• Strong proficiency in project management and change management
• Demonstrated track record of meeting sales metrics and generating significant revenue
• Advanced skills in negotiation, stakeholder management, and customer relationship building
