Responsibilities

• Manage powertrain development department to meet targets and project milestones
• Oversee supplier management including sourcing, monitoring, and escalation
• Manage powertrain function and software development, calibration, and application
• Oversee powertrain hardware and integration including e-machines, batteries, inverters, DCDC, and chargers
• Manage powertrain safety concepts, safety functions, and subsystem validation
• Lead charging development and strategy
• Manage division budget, recruiting, organization, and international synchronization
• Support diagnosis concepts, EMC measures, and homologation processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry or with automotive suppliers
• Masters or PhD in Engineering or a related field
• Deep knowledge of powertrain development and business unit management
• Strong system knowledge and integration skills
• Ability to find alternative solutions and practice self-organization
