Director - Post-Silicon Validation (Functional)

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and debug silicon validation tests in bare metal C/C++ on FPGA/Emulator
• Deploy and debug silicon validation tests on first silicon
• Develop automated test frameworks and regression test suites in Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement best practices
• Analyze test results and identify/debug failures and defects
• Provide technical feedback to architects and contribute to shared validation infrastructure

Requirements

• Understanding of ML applications and workloads
• Strong experience in Bare metal / embedded C/C++
• Experience with post-silicon validation in digital ASIC environments
• Proficiency in Python and Linux
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience
• Experience building and leading multi-site teams
• Driver level experience with PCIe, Ethernet, or Memory technologies (LPDDR, DDR, HBM)
• Knowledge of peripherals such as I2C, I3C, or SPI
• Knowledge of mixed-signal building blocks (PLLs, high speed PHYs)
• Experience with Arm CPUs, System IP, and AMBA protocols
• Experience in Characterization, Failure Analysis, and Statistical analysis
