Director, Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across the Diagnostics portfolio, ensuring accountability for commitments, timelines, and outcomes.
• Represent delivery performance, risks, and trade-offs at executive forums.
• Drive cross-portfolio prioritization, sequencing, and trade-offs aligned to strategic objectives.
• Translate portfolio strategy into actionable delivery plans while balancing demand, capacity, and regulatory considerations.
• Establish governance and delivery practices that enable speed, predictability, and quality outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in operating models and delivery practices across the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and build capability across a global team of Project and Program Managers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to influence roadmap and investment decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in delivery leadership across complex, multi-team engineering or product environments (digital and/or hardware).
• Proven track record of delivering at scale in globally distributed environments.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into execution and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Demonstrated experience in prioritization, trade-off management, and decision-making in complex, ambiguous environments.
• Experience improving operating models and leading transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders.
• Strong people leadership experience, including mentoring and developing teams.
• Solid understanding of digital and/or hardware product delivery within regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the medical device or highly regulated industry.
• Experience leading global portfolio delivery across multiple regions.
• Exposure to AI-enabled delivery models or modern delivery optimization practices.
