Director - Portfolio Management Commercial/Corporate Banking

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit information to support lending decisions for new and existing commercial banking loans
• Negotiate loan structures and terms that align client requirements with bank risk appetite
• Conduct comprehensive portfolio monitoring, including covenant compliance and risk assessment
• Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend capital allocation strategies to optimize returns
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships in collaboration with Relationship Managers
• Identify revenue and cross-selling opportunities to enhance portfolio growth and share of wallet
• Minimize risk exposure by adhering to credit policies, regulatory standards, and operational guidelines
• Lead complex proposal development and deliver presentations to capture new business

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in credit, lending instruments, or financial operations within a corporate banking environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Expert-level proficiency in loan structuring, regulatory compliance, and portfolio management
• Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills
• Proven ability to manage complex, non-routine problems and provide solutions in ambiguous situations

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced expertise in banking operations and change management
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a professional banking setting
