The Vox Media Podcast Network is one of the largest U.S. podcast publishers, home to some of the most popular and influential shows. Powered by Vox Media, the network includes prestigious editorial brands such as New York Magazine, Vox, The Verge, Eater, and SB Nation.

Responsibilities

• Drive CPG and Retail revenue growth by managing a growing book of business
• Cultivate relationships with brand managers, VP/SVP-level decision-makers, and agency partners
• Translate client objectives into high-impact campaigns using podcasts, host talent, video, and social
• Manage sales pipeline with rigor and maintain accurate forecasting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, creative, and production teams
• Represent the network at industry events and CPG/Retail conferences

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital media and/or podcast and talent sales experience
• Proven success in CPG and/or Retail categories
• Strong track record of growing accounts through relationship building
• Deep understanding of how CPG and Retail brands plan and buy media
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
• Ability to use audience insights and performance data to build proposals

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the podcast and talent advertising landscape, including multi-platform partnerships and scaled buys
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
