About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for infrastructure platform capabilities including compute, storage, networking, cloud services, and automation.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
- Drive initiatives to improve infrastructure availability, performance, cost efficiency, and defect reduction using clear KPIs.
- Champion observability and monitoring practices to ensure visibility into infrastructure health.
- Advocate for secure-by-design principles and ensure services meet enterprise security and governance standards.
- Partner with internal application teams to ensure infrastructure services are aligned with evolving business needs.
- Prioritize infrastructure investments based on business impact, risk, and technical feasibility.
- Communicate product vision and progress to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 15+ years of technology industry experience, with at least 10 years in product management roles.
- Proven success managing infrastructure platform products at scale.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and networking.
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent business education.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Deep experience with compliance standards, data center operations, and hybrid cloud environments.
