Director, Platform and Integration Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and integration of multi-system client platforms, connecting banking systems, enterprise infrastructure, and Blockstream technologies
• Partner with the Director, Industry Lead, Financial Services to translate industry solution strategies into scalable platform designs
• Define and own the platform integration strategy, including API architecture, data flows, and platform orchestration
• Design how APIs, data pipelines, platform services, and AI-enabled capabilities interact to form unified institutional platforms
• Establish and govern integration frameworks and reusable patterns aligned with industry reference architectures
• Guide engineering teams across DevOps, CI/CD, system integration, and platform scalability
• Act as the senior authority for cross-platform dependencies, integration decisions, and system-level trade-offs

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in platform architecture, enterprise integration, or large-scale system implementation
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex, multi-system platforms in banking, fintech, or enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in API-first architecture, microservices, and event-driven systems
• Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms and data integration
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS
• Fluency in English and German or Swiss German

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain technologies
• Experience integrating digital asset infrastructure into traditional banking systems
• Background in treasury management, corporate finance, or digital asset custody
• Experience with FIX, OMS, PMS, fund administration, or market data systems
• Experience working with or advising banks, asset managers, and institutional clients
