About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management oversight for the plant controlling organization.
- Establish economic strategies, objectives, and policies to drive financial and manufacturing performance.
- Direct and oversee plant business plans, forecasts, month-end reviews, and year-end closing.
- Derive and steer measures to improve plant cost performance and achieve value-added cost targets.
- Participate as a key member of the plant leadership and executive management teams.
- Serve as the financial leader for the implementation of lean manufacturing and value stream management.
- Manage capital request and budgeting processes, including reviews and justifications.
- Oversee inventory management and partner with operational teams to improve accuracy.
- Support regional plant collaboration and oversee the campus cycle counting program.
- Continuously improve plant controlling, accounting, and reporting processes through digitalization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Manufacturing Accounting, or Business Management.
- 10+ years of related experience in financial or manufacturing controlling.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Windows software packages.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, including experience with IRR and NPV.
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business or Accounting.
- CPA certification.
- Prior experience working within a manufacturing plant environment.
