Director - Plant Controlling

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management oversight for the plant controlling organization.
• Establish economic strategies, objectives, and policies to drive financial and manufacturing performance.
• Direct and oversee plant business plans, forecasts, month-end reviews, and year-end closing.
• Derive and steer measures to improve plant cost performance and achieve value-added cost targets.
• Participate as a key member of the plant leadership and executive management teams.
• Serve as the financial leader for the implementation of lean manufacturing and value stream management.
• Manage capital request and budgeting processes, including reviews and justifications.
• Oversee inventory management and partner with operational teams to improve accuracy.
• Support regional plant collaboration and oversee the campus cycle counting program.
• Continuously improve plant controlling, accounting, and reporting processes through digitalization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Manufacturing Accounting, or Business Management.
• 10+ years of related experience in financial or manufacturing controlling.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Windows software packages.
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, including experience with IRR and NPV.
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business or Accounting.
• CPA certification.
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing plant environment.
