Director, Pediatric Education

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for pediatric curriculum delivery within the College of Medicine.
• Direct the development and implementation of an innovative accelerated pathway to Pediatrics residency.
• Lead teaching efforts for the M3 Pediatric Clerkship, including content development and assessment.
• Employ active and innovative delivery modalities for both face-to-face and remote learners.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure horizontal and vertical integration of course content.
• Participate in medical student education through classroom activities, small groups, and skills-based sessions.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, or seek extramural funding as requested and appropriate.
• Serve on college and university committees and participate in professional organizations.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Current Board certification in Pediatrics.
• Minimum of five years of experience in undergraduate, graduate, or medical student teaching.
• Eligibility for an Ohio medical license (if clinical practice is desired).

• Proven expertise in curriculum and course development and implementation.
• Demonstrated track record of research and scholarship.
• Ability to mentor students, fellows, and faculty.
• Commitment to fostering a humanistic culture and student success.
