Director Payment Network Development & Oversight

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the global payments network strategy across Wires, SWIFT, ACH, RTP, Cards, and alternative payment methods.
• Evaluate and implement new payment rails, connectivity models, and emerging solutions such as real-time networks and stablecoin-enabled settlement.
• Oversee global banking and payment partner relationships, including governance, account lifecycle management, and operational oversight.
• Lead commercial negotiations regarding pricing, fee structures, service levels, and contractual arrangements.
• Drive network optimization initiatives focused on resiliency, routing intelligence, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to incorporate AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements into network operations.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams on infrastructure enhancements, migrations, and API-driven architecture initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Payments, Treasury, Banking, or Fintech.
• Deep expertise in global payment infrastructure including SWIFT, Wires, ACH, RTP/Faster Payments, and correspondent banking.
• Proven track record in managing complex banking relationships and global account structures.
• Demonstrated experience leading pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and routing optimization.
• Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, regulatory frameworks, and payment scheme governance.
• Experience delivering large-scale payment infrastructure or network transformation programs.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
