Director, Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in the design and delivery of PRO and preference elicitation research
• Drive innovation in preference elicitation methodologies and PRO development
• Shape evidence generation strategies to support HTA submissions and payer negotiations
• Mentor and develop a team of professionals, fostering expertise in PRO and preference elicitation studies
• Build and manage client relationships and contribute to business development
• Collaborate with other HEOR functions to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in PRO and preference elicitation studies
• Expertise in designing and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research for PRO studies
• Knowledge of utility measurement, survey development, and psychometric validation
• Strong skills in statistical analysis, econometrics, and data interpretation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with peer-reviewed publication experience
• Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced statistical methods and survey platforms like Qualtrics
• Proficiency in coding languages such as HTML or JavaScript
• Familiarity with HTA environments and global payer requirements
• Knowledge of discrete choice experiments and best-worst scaling
• Experience in business development and proposal preparation
