Director, Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational aspects of the semiconductor manufacturing facility to ensure efficient production.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, improve manufacturing efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Manage a team of senior managers, engineers, and technicians, providing performance coaching and skill development.
• Oversee the entire manufacturing process, including wafer fabrication, assembly, and test.
• Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Manage resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, Quality) to resolve technical issues and optimize yields.
• Analyze financial performance and production data to make data-driven decisions and provide operational updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of managing complex manufacturing operations and improving efficiency.
• Strong command of Lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen and 5S.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities and the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate production data into actionable strategies.
