Director, Operations Management

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing objectives and strategies to meet completion goals
• Lead multi-disciplinary operations in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, inventory management, continuous improvement, and EH&S
• Serve as an effective coach and mentor for a team of 250+ employees
• Oversee succession planning, organizational, and talent development
• Drive Lean and Quality initiatives including Kanban, 5S+1, and Value Stream Mapping
• Present metrics and operational information to executive leadership
• Manage internal customer relationships and priorities across a diverse product portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 15 years of related experience (or Graduate Degree with 13 years)
• 8 years of progressive Operations experience
• 4 years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• 8 years of Aerospace and Defense related experience
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience with direct and indirect Cost accounting
• Deep understanding of lean principles and pull systems
