Director, Operations Management

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of inert and energetic operations for the Camden, Arkansas site
• Lead and mentor a diverse team to achieve operational excellence and develop future leaders through succession planning
• Lead site visit interactions with external customers and government officials
• Ensure compliance with safety and QA regulatory offices, maintaining both commercial and government QA certifications
• Manage site activities to ensure products are produced according to schedule and budget
• Interface with Program Managers to align resources and capabilities with business demands
• Partner with Human Resources to improve the employee experience and reduce attrition

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of operations experience, or a Graduate Degree with 13+ years of experience, or 19+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• 8+ years of experience leading manufacturing or production operations within the aerospace and defense industry
• 5+ years of experience managing a DOD compliant Earned Value Management (EVM) budget system
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading production operations in a DOD energetic facility
• Experience applying LEAN principles to production operations
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated use of ERP systems
