About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Operations Engineering and Continuous Improvement organization to maximize operational capacities and efficiencies.
- Lead the development of capital investment strategies for US manufacturing and new product development to ensure ROI and budget targets are met.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Production planning leaders to determine capital priorities and build execution plans.
- Drive the continuous modernization of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure through automation and advanced capabilities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics leadership to leverage Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve product execution and customer service.
- Implement and lead a culture of continuous improvement across various departments and facilities.
- Develop training materials to meet ongoing organizational needs for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in product design, project engineering, continuous improvement, and capital budget management within a consumer product business.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Proven experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to travel globally (minimum six weeks per year) to support operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
