Director, Operational Excellence - Internal Quality

Responsibilities

• Own the Internal Quality Operational Excellence vision, strategy, and operating model across QA and QC
• Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for complex, multi-site transformation initiatives
• Establish governance, KPIs, and benefits tracking to ensure measurable value realization
• Build and sustain an Internal Quality Operational Excellence network across multiple sites
• Develop organizational capability in Lean, Six Sigma, and change leadership through coaching and mentoring
• Partner with Quality Systems, Lab Ops, Manufacturing, and Digital teams to drive end-to-end performance
• Manage and develop a team of Operational Excellence leads and specialists, including performance management and succession planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of relevant experience, OR
• Master's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience, OR
• PhD and 8 years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of GMP principles, concepts, and standards in US and international environments
• Proven experience in people management and leading teams
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a BS or BA
• Deep expertise in quality assurance within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
