About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead preclinical research for T-cell engager clinical programs and external collaborations, specifically focusing on lung and neuroendocrine cancer
- Build and lead a portfolio of innovative research programs focused on bispecific antibodies
- Mentor a team of project leaders and lab-based scientists to discover new biology and deliver robust datasets
- Contribute to the identification and evaluation of external research opportunities, including business development partnerships and academic collaborations
- Partner with R&D peers to integrate technology with tumor cell biology, including the application of AI/ML approaches
Requirements
- Doctorate in Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, or a related field with 5 years of directly related experience (or equivalent experience with a Master's or Bachelor's degree)
- Experience leading oncology T-cell engager programs from discovery to development candidate nomination
- Deep understanding of cancer cell biology, including human genetics and signaling pathways
- Experience with translational biology and interpreting clinical biomarker data
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of industry experience following postdoctoral training
- Deep understanding of lung cancer biology
- Knowledge of antibody engineering approaches, including T-cell engagers and antibody-drug conjugates
- Demonstrated ability to use AI/ML to accelerate research and translational biology
- Proven scientific impact through publications, patents, or invited talks
