Director of Youth Ministry

Responsibilities

• Implement and own the vision for discipleship of youth through young adulthood
• Cultivate a vibrant, growing, and spiritually grounded youth ministry in Manhattan
• Develop Gospel-centered programming, curriculum, and discipleship opportunities
• Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to serve effectively
• Provide pastoral care, counseling, and discipleship to youth, volunteers, and families
• Partner with the Senior Director of Family Ministry to equip parents
• Supervise, mentor, and develop West Side Youth staff and interns
• Manage the West Side Youth budget and ensure responsible stewardship

Requirements

• Alignment with the theological principles of Redeemer West Side and the PCA
• Undergraduate degree required; Master's Degree in ministry, theology, or related field preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience leading ministries for youth, children, or families
• Proven ability to build systems and set programming
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
