About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision and execution of high-impact video storytelling for T Brand Studio International across all NYT properties and social platforms.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of video projects, from initial brainstorming and storyboarding to final asset delivery.
- Partner with Ad Sales, Strategists, and Creative Directors to respond to client briefs and align video content with brand goals.
- Develop diverse video formats for on-site and social media promotion, including short-form and long-form content.
- Collaborate with creative teams to adapt branded podcasts into engaging video shows.
- Upskill the creative team on video craft, providing technical direction on production, equipment, lighting, and editing.
- Build and manage a global network of video vendors and freelancers to support international client projects.
- Use digital analytics and engagement metrics to inform creative decisions and optimize content performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience producing and capturing video content for a media company, production house, or creative agency.
- Expertise in creating video content specifically for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) in formats such as documentary, interview, and motion graphics.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with experience leading motion graphics and graphic design within video.
- Experience identifying and managing video vendors and freelancers to deliver high-quality advertising content.
- Proficiency in using digital analytics and engagement metrics to measure content success.
- Ability to deliver high-quality creative assets within strict budgetary constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere, After Effects, and Capture One.
- Experience working with advertising clients across diverse sectors such as finance, technology, luxury, or consumer goods.
- Experience creating video content to promote or adapt podcasting environments.
