About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the full production lifecycle for planned campaigns, reactive projects, and internal videos
- Develop and manage project briefs, production schedules, shot lists, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate all shoot logistics including location, permitting, travel, equipment, and crew
- Source, negotiate with, and manage freelance crew, editors, production companies, and agency partners
- Direct internal editors and shooters to ensure creative alignment and on-time delivery
- Manage production budgets from estimate through final reconciliation
- Draft and execute contracts, including location agreements and talent releases
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales stakeholders to align video content with business objectives
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in video production within a brand, agency, or in-house environment
- Demonstrated experience managing crews, freelance contractors, and external production partners
- Strong understanding of the full production process (pre-production, production, and post)
- Proven experience managing production budgets and reconciling actuals
- Familiarity with contract management, talent releases, and vendor agreements
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment (onsite 4 days per week in Seattle, Boston, or Scottsdale)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience producing content for B2B, government, public safety, or technology brands
- Familiarity with trade show or experiential video production
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies or government entities
- Working knowledge of AI video production and post-production tools
