Director of Video Production

Responsibilities

• Own the full production lifecycle for planned campaigns, reactive projects, and internal videos
• Develop and manage project briefs, production schedules, shot lists, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate all shoot logistics including location, permitting, travel, equipment, and crew
• Source, negotiate with, and manage freelance crew, editors, production companies, and agency partners
• Direct internal editors and shooters to ensure creative alignment and on-time delivery
• Manage production budgets from estimate through final reconciliation
• Draft and execute contracts, including location agreements and talent releases
• Partner with marketing, product, and sales stakeholders to align video content with business objectives

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in video production within a brand, agency, or in-house environment
• Demonstrated experience managing crews, freelance contractors, and external production partners
• Strong understanding of the full production process (pre-production, production, and post)
• Proven experience managing production budgets and reconciling actuals
• Familiarity with contract management, talent releases, and vendor agreements
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment (onsite 4 days per week in Seattle, Boston, or Scottsdale)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing content for B2B, government, public safety, or technology brands
• Familiarity with trade show or experiential video production
• Experience working with law enforcement agencies or government entities
• Working knowledge of AI video production and post-production tools
