About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and expand a portfolio of strategic external partnerships with businesses, government entities, and nonprofits.
- Identify and advance opportunities to support enrollment pipelines, workforce development, and institutional revenue.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for strategic partnerships to ensure alignment across academic and administrative departments.
- Evaluate existing and proposed partnerships using qualitative and quantitative measures, including ROI and sustainability.
- Cultivate relationships with business executives, government officials, and prominent alumni.
- Represent the University at external meetings, events, and forums as a brand ambassador.
- Collaborate with advancement, enrollment, and marketing teams to align partnerships with recruitment efforts.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations regarding partnership strategy and outcomes for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Policy, Education, or a related field.
- Professional experience working directly with external partners or stakeholders to advance strategic goals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging diverse constituents.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including experience with research and reporting.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Policy, Higher Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing external alliances and strategic initiatives.
- Experience engaging with senior executives, elected officials, and civic leaders.
