About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of training programs for field-facing teams
- Oversee development of training frameworks, curricula, and digital learning assets
- Coordinate new hire training and ongoing skills development across cross-functional teams
- Create training materials including study guides, assessments, and competitive overviews
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and related training vendors
- Partner with Compliance to ensure training meets regulatory policies and procedures
- Identify capability gaps through data analysis and field observations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or business (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales and training
- Minimum 6 years in a training or field leadership role
- Prior pharmaceutical field experience and biotech field management experience
- Experience with vendor and contract management
- Proven ability in applying adult learning principles
- Ability to travel up to 30% overnight
Preferred Qualifications
- Focus on neuroscience and Rare Disease
- Experience with product launches and Account Management
- Experience launching a product in a rare disease space
