Director of Training

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of training programs for field-facing teams
• Oversee development of training frameworks, curricula, and digital learning assets
• Coordinate new hire training and ongoing skills development across cross-functional teams
• Create training materials including study guides, assessments, and competitive overviews
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and related training vendors
• Partner with Compliance to ensure training meets regulatory policies and procedures
• Identify capability gaps through data analysis and field observations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or business (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales and training
• Minimum 6 years in a training or field leadership role
• Prior pharmaceutical field experience and biotech field management experience
• Experience with vendor and contract management
• Proven ability in applying adult learning principles
• Ability to travel up to 30% overnight

Preferred Qualifications

• Focus on neuroscience and Rare Disease
• Experience with product launches and Account Management
• Experience launching a product in a rare disease space
