Director of Trading

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day FX execution across 40+ actively traded currencies, ensuring high execution quality and risk discipline.
• Take full accountability for trading P&L and managing margins across various corridors.
• Build and manage the liquidity provider panel, including onboarding, benchmarking, and renegotiating terms.
• Optimize sourcing strategies, including the use of stablecoins for faster and cheaper funding.
• Partner with the Treasury team on pre-funding, working capital, and exposure management.
• Lead and develop the specialist trading team, driving automation to enable scalable growth.
• Collaborate with Ops and Compliance on counterparty risk and settlement flows.

Requirements

• Proven track record in emerging market FX execution with direct P&L or margin ownership.
• Experience managing liquidity providers and leading specialist trading teams.
• Strong knowledge of hedging strategies, exposure limits, and cross-border payment unit economics.
• Understanding of stablecoins (USDC/USDT) as a sourcing and settlement layer.
• High ownership mindset with a data-led approach to decision-making.
• Ability to maintain sound judgment and direct communication under high-pressure, volatile conditions.
