Director of the Office of Computer Services

Responsibilities

• Provide director-level leadership for reliable, secure, and scalable IT operations across campus
• Design and manage the institution's IT infrastructure, including network, server, cloud, and endpoint environments
• Administer Microsoft-based environments, specifically Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Active Directory
• Oversee enterprise applications, including the Ellucian Colleague Student Information System
• Manage the technology budget, vendor relationships, and contract renewals
• Implement cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols
• Supervise and develop Computer Services personnel
• Ensure business continuity through robust backup and disaster recovery planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration and IT infrastructure operations
• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft-based infrastructure (AD/Entra ID)
• Vibrant, personal Christian faith, including a clear testimony of Christian conversion and active involvement in an evangelical church

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Previous supervisory or IT leadership experience (Team Lead, Manager, or Director)
• Experience managing uptime, security, and incident response in a production environment
